Plan purchase restrictions

Plan sales are at the discretion of Cardel homes. All sales are final.

By purchasing the plan, Purchaser is granted the right to build that home one time outside of Calgary and its surrounding municipalities. Only the original purchaser has the right to build one home from the plan purchased. You may not rent, lease, loan, give, transfer or sell the plans. The purchaser agrees to build the plan outside the City of Calgary city limits and in area where Cardel Homes does not have access to lots.

The purchaser agrees to comply with all local laws, codes and building regulations. The plans featured are prepared by Cardel building designers and architects. All plans comply with recognized Alberta building codes in effect at the time they were drawn. Because local and provincial building regulations vary from region to region and are constantly changing, absolute conformance to purchaser's specific requirements is impossible. Therefore, Cardel authorizes the sale and uses of these plans expressly conditioned upon the purchaser's obligation and agreement to strictly comply with all applicable laws, codes, ordinances, regulations and requirements. Note that certain jurisdictions require the services and seal of an architect registered in that area. Cardel designers do not change the drawings to meet any specific local and provincial building regulations.

The purchaser acknowledges that they are not a residential builder and that the plan will be used only for the construction of their own residence and not for sale to the public. The purchaser agrees that they may not duplicate in any form, rent, lease, loan, distribute or create derivative works based on information provided in whole or in part.
