Executive Assistant to Regional President

As an Executive Assistant, you provide comprehensive, confidential and professional level office management, executive administrative assistance, and project coordination support to the Regional President and senior management team. You will act as a customer, community and employee liaison and be responsible for schedule management, correspondence, records management, information & data analysis, writing executive summaries, office procurement, event planning and providing personal assistance to the Regional President.

You will bring to this position 5+ years’ administrative experience supporting senior level executives and a post-secondary education in business/office administration. Previous experience within the construction or land development industries is considered an asset. You will also have an exemplary level of tact, professionalism, discretion and confidentiality.

Proficiency in all aspects of computer technology with emphasis on MS Office, with an aptitude to learn additional software and other relevant applications and technical/office equipment at an advanced level is required. Previous experience with Sales Simplicity, Builder MT, Punchlist and SAGE Accounting &amp Estimating is an asset.

Sales Agent

Cardel Ottawa is currently looking for an experienced Sales Agent to join our sales team in a new community in Richmond. Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, your responsibilities will include: lead generation and lead management, client and prospect engagement, new home sales, sales contract administration, and ongoing customer service. As a Sales Agent, you will be assigned to a primary community but may also be required to work from any Cardel community at any time.

You will bring to this role experience in the new home industry, strong business acumen, excellent communication, interpersonal and engagement skills and a professional appearance. You will be personable, customer service oriented, innovative, have exceptional attention to detail and an advanced level of computer & technical literacy. Post-secondary education and bilingualism are an asset. Must be available to work Monday thru Friday (subject to days off) from 12:00pm to 7:00pm and weekends from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. In the capacity of Sales Agent, there may be times where you are required to work outside these hours and at other locations to ensure success. Short-listed candidates will be required to provide a drivers’ abstract and a criminal record check.

Estimator

As an Estimator, you will use your diploma in Architectural Technologies, or equivalent, and your industry-related experience to support our Estimating team. You will be responsible for building base models and options within the database and other functions which may include preparation of material and labor take-offs, purchase order issuance, custom price requests, variance analysis, vendor pricing and assisting where required with paperwork and administration for tendering sub-trade contracts and other production related functions.

You must have solid knowledge of residential construction processes, building materials, codes and technologies plus solid communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, time management skills and organizational abilities. Working proficiency with construction/estimating software such as Sales Simplicity, Timberline and Builder MT is also preferred. BCIN qualifications will be an asset.
