As a Project Manager for the Bradenton-Sarasota area, you will report to the VP of Construction and work with an overall team consisting of other Site Supervisors, Warranty Technicians, Laborers and our Operations and Warranty Coordinators.
- Scheduling and supervising subcontractors and suppliers
- Maintaining master construction schedule and ensuring timelines are met
- Conducting regular inspections and ensuring quality control
- Overseeing the overall site for cleanliness and safety
- Liaising with homeowners and attending walk-through meetings
- Managing site costs and material efficiency
You will have previous experience in residential construction or renovations, with extensive knowledge of the Florida Building Code, residential construction process and building materials. You will also be an independent self-starter, possess strong customer service and communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is the perfect position for a new graduate entering the workforce with a Diploma in Architectural Design or Construction Technology. As a Junior Drafter, you will be mentored by experienced Drafting and Estimating Managers, and your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with construction drawing details, collecting field notes and implementing plan updates.
- Supporting the Estimating Manager, including bid requests, take-offs and trade communications.
- Producing new home production start packages from sale to start of construction.
- Creating preliminary plot plans.
- Creating elevation exhibits.
- Assembling architectural review applications and supporting documentation.
- Production of new community exhibits for Land and Marketing Departments.
- Requesting, reviewing and submitting documents for permit applications.
- Participating in plan design and new community planning activities to meet business plan goals.
- Daily production of all necessary documents to support sales, design and construction activities.
This position requires the use of multiple industry-standard software platforms, from Sales, Estimating and Drafting. You will have the opportunity to put your education and experience in new residential construction to use while getting hands-on experience using Power CAD, AutoCAD, Builder MT Workflow Management System, as well as participating in the use of Sage Accounting software.

As U.S. Controller, you will provide the Controller function to both the Colorado and Florida regions. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements and working papers; preparing reporting packages for lenders and management; providing oversight in land pro forma preparation and project financial review; preparing cash flow and financial projections and forecasting; ensuring efficient and effective internal controls are in place for accounting and finance processes; overseeing banking, insurance, and treasury management; liaising with the executive and management team, lenders, auditors, lawyers, IRS, title companies, and homeowners as needed; and managing the accounting team.
To be successful in this position, you will have a CPA designation with a minimum of 7-10 years of work experience in private industry or with private industry clients (experience in land development or homebuilding is preferred), 3-5 years in a management role preferably in the real estate or construction industry, an undergraduate degree in business or accounting, well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, solid business acumen, unquestionable discretion for confidential and sensitive information, advanced MS Excel knowledge, as well as outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
