As an Accountant, you will support the accounting operations, including accounts payable, job cost accounting, cash management, and month-end close activities.

Responsibilities:
- Support core accounting operations, including accounts payable, job costing, cash management, and month-end close activities.
- Maintain accurate financial records by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting and analysis.
- Manage homebuilding-specific accounting tasks such as recording closings, tracking contracts and deposits, and supporting cost and inventory reporting.
- Oversee cash flow activities, including daily cash management, funding draws, and intercompany transactions.
- Support compliance, vendor management, and process improvements while partnering with the Controller on budgeting, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of accounting experience (homebuilding or construction)
- Diploma/degree in accounting or finance
- Experience with accounting software and systems (Sage, Constellation NX)
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Independent self-starter
- Possess strong customer service and communication skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
