As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts, financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare accounting records and financial reports
- Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and cost allocations
- Analyze general ledger entries
- Assist in month-end/quarter-end closing such as preparing and reviewing reconciliations and journal entries
- Review transactions for adequacy of supporting documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience in month end close process and financial management preparation
- Previous residential construction industry experience is an asset
- Proficient with Excel, Word, Timberline Estimating & WMS, Sales Simplicity, Sage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and reconciliations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

- Scheduling and supervising subcontractors and suppliers
- Maintaining the master construction schedule and ensuring timelines are met
- Conducting regular inspections and ensuring quality control
- Overseeing the overall site for cleanliness and safety
- Liaising with homeowners and attending walk-through meetings
- Managing site costs and material efficiency
- Actively evaluating and improving trade performance at job sites
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential construction or renovations
- Extensive knowledge of the Florida Building Code, the residential construction process and building materials
- Independent self-starter
- Possess strong customer service and communication skills
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
