The Land Development Site Servicing Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations required to complete land development projects. This includes planning, schedule management, supervising, contract and budget administration as well as reporting activities.
This position will oversee, coordinate and administer projects while keeping contractors accountable, on schedule and within budget. Key deliverables are accurate estimates, schedule management, budget management, frequent status reporting and support for other planning activities. This position reports to and takes direction from the Planning and Development Manager and/or other senior managers.
The role will liaise between various groups including Cardel’s land division, consulting and contracting teams, other internal Cardel divisions and business units including the homebuilding division, marketing department and finance department, as well as other stakeholders such as community members and the City of Ottawa and surrounding municipalities.
You will have a bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma in construction technology, urban planning and/or engineering with 3+ years of land development work experience. You will bring to this role an understanding of the land development process and familiarity with the City of Ottawa or other municipality planning-related policies. You have strong comprehension of plans and legal agreements, excellent organization and communication skills and are proficient with MS Office. Previous knowledge or experience with AutoCad software is an asset.
You must have a valid G license and the use of a vehicle when required. Work is performed in both an office and outdoor work environment. Hours may include evenings and weekends.

As a Labourer you will be energetic and self-motivated with the responsibility of ensuring site safety, providing new residential site cleans and completing minor carpentry tasks. To be successful in this position you will have a focus on safety, a valid Ontario Driver’s License and a professional demeanor. Previous experience with residential construction sites is an asset. This is a physically demanding position which will require you to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
You must provide your own steel-toe boots and a reliable mode of transportation. Short-listed candidates will be required to provide a drivers’ abstract and criminal record check.
