Handyman/woman

As a Handyman/woman, you will report to the Site Supervisor and work with an overall team consisting of Handymen/women, Warranty Technicians, Labourers and PDI and Warranty Coordinators to provide pre-possession finishing work, post-possession service work, ensure site safety and cleanliness as well as perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Fix and eliminate deficiency items before Pre-Delivery Inspections.
  • Coordinate repair of deficiency items listed with the PDI Coordinator team and homeowner before (and after) closing.
  • Identify and assess construction deficiencies and perform repairs in a timely manner.
  • Prepare homes for inspection by city for occupancy, insulation and framing.
  • Perform drywall checkouts as required for each home.
  • Ensure complete clean-up of home, inside and outside, prior to walk-thrus, inspections and possession.
  • Perform visual inspection of exterior home to assess state of completion.

You will have previous experience in residential construction or renovations, with extensive knowledge of the building codes, the residential construction process, building materials and new home warranty requirements. Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in a variety of functions, including carpentry, drywall, caulking, and painting, is essential.

You will also be an independent self-starter, possess strong customer service and communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

This is a physically demanding position that will require you to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. You must provide your own tools and a reliable mode of transportation (i.e. truck or van). The successful candidate will be required to provide a driving record and criminal record check.

Pre-Delivery Inspection Coordinator

The primary purpose of the PDI Coordinator is to support the construction and warranty teams to deliver deficiency-free homes while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assist, audit or provide Pre-PDI home inspections with Site Supervisors / Finishing Foreman.
  • Schedule PDI and Closing appointments with homeowners.
  • Prepare PDI packages for homeowner PDI appointments and home orientations.
  • Lead all client Pre-Delivery Inspections in all communities.
  • Document and record homeowner items and ensure that deficiencies are corrected before closing by coordinating with construction, trades and suppliers.
  • Lead possession day inspections and homeowner orientations on closing day with clients.
  • Schedule and manage 30-day and year-end appointments and schedule trades for post-possession work.
  • Assist with 1-year warranty inspections.
  • Schedule and monitor all seasonal items from start to completion.

You will have previous experience in residential construction, with extensive knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, residential construction process, building materials and new home warranty requirements. You will also be an independent self-starter, possess strong customer service and communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Technical proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel) is also required. Knowledge or experience with Punchlist (PLM.net) is considered an asset.

  • Managing site costs and material efficiency.
  • Ensuring health and safety on site.

Salesforce Pardot Marketing Automation Lead

Located at any one of our four regional offices, as the Salesforce Pardot Marketing Automation Lead, you will be responsible for delivering high-value marketing solutions based on the analysis of behavioral and profile data while facilitating the adoption of best practices. You will work closely with the regional sales and marketing teams, new home sales consultants, corporate marketing and IT. Some travel may be required, but you should also have the aptitude to train and work with others remotely via technology.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating a standard of excellence (best practices) in email and marketing automation.
  • Implementing and supporting front-end technology questions regarding HTML emails, landing pages, etc., from templates while incorporating industry best practices.
  • Managing data, including segmentation and reporting, testing, cleaning and optimization.
  • Developing and executing testing and optimization strategies to improve email metrics.
  • Assisting with contact strategies to deepen the customer relationship and increase sales opportunities and then executing on these campaigns.
  • Assisting with regional and community-level customer experience strategy.
  • Assisting in the creation of marketing campaigns.
  • Training Salesforce users.
  • Recommending appropriate digital technology to support our needs end-to-end, including hosting and integration with existing technologies (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, etc.).
  • Managing the delivery of custom solutions, interfaces, and integrations.
  • Evaluating requirements and providing solutions for activating and optimizing marketing technologies and E-commerce solutions.
  • Supporting business and technology teams to define, design, architect, implement and operate web platforms and capabilities.
  • Understanding all facets of the various platforms for B2C, such as the creation of cross-channel campaigns, implementations of lead scoring, lead nurturing, alerts, routing and notifications, segmentation, personalization, and creation of ROI reporting and key metrics.

You will bring to this position advanced knowledge of Pardot (Sales Cloud knowledge is a huge plus), as well as 2+ years of SalesForce.com lead management, marketing automation and analysis experience. A BS or BA in Marketing, Computer Science, IS or another related science is considered an asset.

Sales Manager

As a Sales Manager, you will report to the VP of Sales & Marketing, manage sales department team members, and work closely with the production and operations teams.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Lead a high-performing sales team while nurturing current culture and directing all sales activities.
  • Set individual sales goals and targets with the sales team in line with corporate objectives.
  • Develop your sales team through motivation, coaching, and product knowledge education.
  • Prepare and manage sales budget to division-approved budget.
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g., deposits and special pricing requests.)
  • Ensure that the sales team fully understands and complies with company contracts.
  • Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms.
  • Effectively resolve customer complaints.
  • Produce and manage monthly competitive market summaries with the sales team.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business.
  • 10 or more years of experience in sales (preferably new home sales).
  • 5 or more years of experience supervising or managing a high-performance sales team.
  • Knowledge of residential home construction and real estate.
  • Proven ability to deal with customers and to negotiate appropriate outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with CRM and sales software (experience with Sales Simplicity and/or Salesforce is an asset.)
