This position is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe environment for both visiting homeowners and tradespeople working on site.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure site safety.
  • Provide new residential site clean-up.
  • Prepare site for trades.
  • Complete minor carpentry tasks.
  • Help to maintain signage during the construction process.
  • Assess and remove hazards on work sites.

Qualifications:

  • Basic construction knowledge – building technology, processes, and building materials.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and flexibility.
  • Punctual with time management, multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s licence.

This is a physically demanding position which will require you to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Warranty Coordinator

As a Warranty Coordinator, you will be responsible to uphold the company’s standard of outstanding customer service by looking after the needs of new homeowners.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with customers and service technicians for appointments.
  • Maintain warranty database and enter work orders.
  • Maintain homeowner files as well as homeowner and vendor portals.
  • Handle customer and vendor enquiries.
  • Schedule and monitor routine and emergency warranty items.
  • Provide weekly reports to management on construction and warranty items.
  • Provide additional administrative support to the team.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a high-stress, self-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, creativity, and flexibility.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict-management skills.
  • Prior knowledge of residential construction is considered an asset.
  • Advanced computer skills – Office 365, Microsoft, database, etc.

New Home Sales Consultant

As an effective New Home Sales Consultant, you will be joining the team to launch our new community. Reporting to the Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include lead generation, nurturing, conversion, closing, sales contract administration, and ongoing customer service.

You will bring to this role: a passion for sales excellence; real estate market knowledge, strong business acumen; computer and technical literacy with a focus on online communication and CRM software (experience with Salesforce is an asset); excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and engagement skills, plus the ability to promote Cardel’s brand and presence in a community. You will be personable, customer-service oriented, innovative, have exceptional attention to detail and have a proven track record in sales. A reliable mode of transportation is required, and you must be available to attend regular sales centre hours and sales meetings.

This is a full-time position with a 5-day work week scheduled to accommodate model home and sales centre hours. In addition, you may be required to attend training or other work commitments outside of the sales centre hours. The hours of operation for model homes and sales centres are typically as follows:

Monday to Wednesday 12:00pm – 7:00pm
Thursday to Sunday 12:00pm – 5:00pm
